Poems written before 1995 have not been preserved...
In '95, '96 I really just started seriously exploring the poetry world.
Many poems from 1997, and especially 1998 have been lost, only several remained.
Tara brought the first real inspiration for me to write seriously, (and seriously humourously), some of the poems for her are not published here, for they are really letters which rhyme.
The two poems 'Crazy' and 'Go Away' were written during the same time as the 'Poems for Tara'.
'The Fairy Tale' was written and given to Tara, but is actually not dedicated to her.
'It's Dark' is from a different epoch - after the dissappointment and 'I Give Up'. It was selected as a winner in a poetry contest, and has been published in the book titled 'Time After Time' (Watermark Press). It was written while on a bus, on the way home, returning from a 2-day trip to the country with the choir.
After that came 'Star' for Nina, and that was the end of that part of my life.
The next 2 poems were written in Israel, during April holidays, and the rest of the poems for Nina in England during May and June, with the last of them some 3 weeks before my return to Israel for the summer.
No poems have been preserved from the next 3 quarters of a year, unfortunately, except for 1 stanza, written to the music of my musical composition, the immature Sonatina.
Then inspiration came from Galya, and her friends, the first one being the fable-like 'Пока'. Three poems were not dedicated to Galya and were written during late spring and early summer 2000.
Five poems written to Masha during my 2-weeks visit to Moscow are not here, but will be as soon as I find them, if I do.
After that, the poems were written in Moscow, when I returned from my summer holidays.
During almost the whole of 2000, dozens of poems were written and dedicated to Galya (my ex-gf). Some of them even turned to songs later, with some corrections and additions. They are all in the 'Poems for Galya' section.
